This group is for those who either do, or would like to,
combine working and RVing as a lifestyle. These folks are
often referred to as "workampers". Also welcome
here are those who are merely curious about this lifestyle
or would like to know more about it. One of our reasons for
starting this group was to give experienced workampers an
avenue for sharing insights about employers and the
realities of various situations they've encountered with other experienced workampers and those still in the planning stages or just considering this lifestyle. Hopefully sharing of experiences and hard won wisdom will smooth the road for us all.

Some basic guidelines on posting are: Please select an appropriately descriptive title for the subject of any new post. When replying to a post, please edit the original message to leave only enough of it to clarify your response. If your reply to a post will substantially change its subject matter please edit the existing subject/title to ensure it remains descriptive of the new subject matter or start a new post. Express your opinions freely however, respect the opinions of others by refraining from open disagreement with and/or criticism of their opinion. Appropriate subject matter includes workamping and issues directly related to it. Group members may post job openings that are last minute, need to fill it now, type things. However, employers with routine job openings will need to use the various venues available to them elsewhere as we do not wish to become a source of free advertising. While great latitude is generally allowed with regard to subject matter, the group moderator reserves the right to delete posts deemed inappropriate or offensive.
