Ok last yr we had a get together with some of the members on this list,
our first one, it went good. So thought I would do another one this yr.
So I am sending this as a special notice to some of the folks that are
set as such. AS we don't want you to miss out.This will be toward the
end of May depending on what feed back i get from this.
I am thinking of Silver Lake Oregon which is about 85 miles from Bend.
There are two places to camp in that area, one is called Silver lake Marsh
campground which is 10 miles from town, and the other is Thompson Resevoir
which is just 14 miles from town, same direction just 4 miles from Marsh
campground. Marsh was a free campground, unless they changed it,
not sure how much TR is. Will find out those details later.
Reason i am choosing this area: there is the Cowboy Dinner Tree.

I thought it would be nice for all of us to have dinner there,
the steaks are as big as a rump roast. The day of dinner can be
worked out later if we have folks interested. Also if you want
photos of the steaks go to the photo album named Cowboy Dinner tree,
enough food for the entire weekend.
So right now I am interested to knowing who would be interested
in haveing a GTG at that time? Let me know so we can make some plans.
And by the way this restaurant only takes reservations.
So we will need to know early enough.
