The 3rd Annual Midwest Rotary Rally is shaping up nicely. This event
is a gathering of RX-7s, RX-8s, and other rotary-powered cars.

We are about to release the updated web site, which has all the
details, but in the mean time, here is the G2 on the event:

Date: August 22 - 24, 2003

Location: Road America, at Elkhart Lake, WI

Racing: American LeMans Series (ALMS), with supporting races featuring
Mazda 13B rotary-powered Star Mazda open wheel cars.

This year we are planning on being at the track both Saturday and
Sunday. Touring will be on Saturday - you get to drive your car on the
track! This was awesome last year.

Mazda is going to provide a Formula Mazda car as well as an RX-8, and
we will have at least several owners bringing their RX-8s.

The Midwest Rotary Rally is sponsored by Mazda North America, and last
year's sponsors included other great vendors such as The RX-7 Store,
Chicago's own A-spec Tuning, SR Motorsports, AIM Tuning, Northstar
Rotary Rockets, The Gear Selector, Rotary Accessories, Pro-Motion
Solutions, and Concours Motors.

The clubs organizing this event currently include The RX-7 Club of
Wisconsin, Northstar Rotary Rockets (MN), the Rotary Car Club of
Chicago (RC3), and the Mid-America RX-7 club.

If your club would like to help organize the event, you would be more
than welcome.
