A discussion forum open only to full and associate members of the RoSPA Advanced Drivers And Riders. The Organisation exists to improve road safety by raising driving/riding standards. To further this aim it provides advanced driving and riding tests. The tests are graded, gold, silver, bronze and in order to maintain their membership members must be retested at three yearly intervals. The lowest pass grade is approved by the DSA as being consistent with the minimum standard of advanced driving. Many local groups exist to promote better driving/riding and they offer their members help and advice about road safety and driving/riding besides providing free tuition for their members up to the standard of the advanced driving/riding test. All RoADA examiners hold a police advanced certificate and most hold also an instructor's certificate. There is also a Diploma in advanced driver/rider instruction. More information is available on the Association's web site at www.roada.org.uk.
