There was a rough R-16 on craigslist in Sacramento for several weeks this fall. I don't know if it sold or not.

If you live close to the hamilton area i have a amc renault factory scan tool ,i
can check eng and trans ecu,s in or out of the cars,also have some small parts
for sale ,,i have a decent encore sport steering wheel.let me know what you
might need and i can see if i have it.

I didn't think Rockauto had the 2.0 timing belts. They certainly didn't used to.

Probably not. The USA spec GTA had an idle speed control motor. It actually opened and closed the throttle plate to control idle speed.  The USA spec Medallions were 2.2 l and had port injection versus the throttle body injection on the GTA. I didn't think Renault called the 21 a Medallion anywhere but the USA, and that they were all 2.2 l. Feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.

Thanks for the payment for the Engine ECU’s which went through yesterday.

 

Did the Trans computers arrive yet? Hopefully your mechanic will be able to get your car fixed up for you.

 

You probably noticed that I threw a few extra goodies in the E-bay box for you. A new cam cover gasket and a used (but good) Multi-function switch for the trans. I took that off my car before I scrapped it as they are nearly impossible to find. When I needed one for my car, I found a Renault dealer in England that I have dealt with before who could get me a new one but it was 250 GB Pounds which is nearly $500 USD. Keep that one I gave you as a spare in case you ever need it. It’s valuable!

 

You can pay me for the trans computer shipping via paypal as before.
