Anybody got a tonneau on theirs? I was wondering how it can be fixed on without
playing about with the ladder rack+. Mine has a load liner without a drain -
gets about 4inches of water in it - anybody got a drain hole - if so where? Have
you tried the thingies that go down the front of the windows? - if it rains you
take on some water with the window open without them. Guy

Thanks for yours - I thought I'd buy a plastic tilt for mine but Proton wanted
loads of dollar - the claimed economy shouldn't be this far out. My last pick-up
was a fuzzo [FSO] and I've got to say it was a sight better than the Jumbuck -

I only get around 33-35 mpg as well.  But thats not bad for a pickup type
vehicle.

The aerodynamics are pretty poor unless you have a truckman top to tidy up
airflow over
the flat bed.

Maybe that why the  figures quoted by Proton are higher, they stuck a lid on the
flat bed.

It's my first post on this site.

Basically I had a yellow Proton Compact, later renamed to Satria I'm
sure you know. Anyway, I've got the front skirt/bodykit for sale if

I drove a Wira 1.3GL, which is about 9 years old. Two days ago, the
car make a sound "Teng Teng Teng Teng" when I hit 80kph. The sound
seem to come from outside the driver car window. I also hear the
sound when I go over a bump.

Anyone experience this before? What are the cause? How can it be
fitted?

Hello everyone.  Any suggestions how I can improve the ride-quality
of my Proton?   It's a Wira Aeroback 1.6 XLi (left-hand drive in the
Philippines).  Very poor roads where I drive so I have to choose
comfort over performance.

Yesterday, I was trying to replace the wheels with 13" (down from
14") to replace the tires with higher sidewalls but my car won't
allow it--disc brakes keep getting in the way.

Any other ideas to improve ride?

I too love protons unfortunately im having to sell mine its a
Proton 1996 1.5 GL MPi
Would suit Disabled with hand controls fitted and are easily removed.
It's Automatic. P.A.S C/Locking.
It has an Alarm/immobilizer. It comes complete with a cd/stereo radio
with snap on/off front.
Colour : Red, 7 Months MOT.
