Hello Mazda friends,
I am working on a project which involves a 1500 cc 1998 Protégé engine
which is no longer in the donor car and not running. My Haynes manual
says the engine rotation is clockwise when one looks at the front of
the engine....I am not sure what this means since the engine is a
transaxle and the "front" can be either side. My educated guess is that
when one looks at the engine from the oil stick, alternator end the
crankshaft pulley would rotate clockwise. Could any of you with
functional Protégés confirm this.
