has anyone imported a german car that is registered in Germany into
the US? How difficult is it to change it to US standards, and what
paperwork is involved to get the title changed and so forth.
I am thinking of importing my Dads '92 750iL. Thanks.

A 22 year old car is road legal in USA as a vintage vehicle. They enter duty free. no safety extras such as bumpers need to be touched. Just maybe add safety...
