I adjusted my lifter/rocker arm Saturday to the specs(.014I,.016E cold on base of cam).They still tick a little is this normal for a 2.8 Ford or should I go...

The 2.8 is and always will be a noisy engine...if you are NOT hearing the lifters tic, you ARE burning the valves...IMHO. Dave 74 Pinto 84 Bronco II 2.8 ...
