I read your instructions but to be honest they are to complicated so i
never tried. I prefer to install straight from orginal BMW CD's. You
just need to set VMware HD to exact Gt1 size. Then enter new root
password, again copying shadow file is to complicated. Then only
change the Nic drivers and the system is good to go.

But on VMware my mouse goes mad, kbl.wheel=no doesn't help me. So i
use a PC.
