In case anyone is interested, I have a VW trike for sale. LOL, too
many toys around.
This Trike has a 2000cc Fuel Injected VW Motor, and is fast as shit.
Has a rear fiberglass body, with room for two adults or 3 medium
sized kids on the rear, with a high backed adjustable seat for the
driver/rider. Has an alarm system, stereo, Harley controls, and
Wheelie bars. Also comes with an extra Harley Wide Glide Front End,
and a Clean Title. Hey, this trike is very KEWL. I have over $7500
into this trike. If you are interested, drop me a line, Or call me at
330-773-7232 Noon to 7PM, tue-sat.
Oh yeah, the trike is located in Akron, Ohio.
You can see one pic of it at
http://www.akrontattoos.com/Classifieds.html
I'll have more pics up as soon as I can find the time.
Thanks,
  Gypsy

You can find some pics at Reliantmans website and maybe he has some
insight on them seeing as he has a page dedicated to them!

http://www.geocities.com/reliantman2002/morgan.html

I have seen pics of some that people doing alternative fuels research
have built. Might do a search on the Google Search Engine!

Good luck

Hiya Rocket -

Glad someone remembered me! I had my doubts because of being offline for so
long!

Yeh there may be a few of us that are crazy enough to try a Corvair project.
--LOL-- I know the parts are a little more expensive and good used ones
maybe a little harder to come by, but, it's what I have so it's a start.

Good to hear from ya. I'll see if I can get my audio working on this thing
and get back to telling lies again! Hehehehe!!

It has been a looooong time so I doubt anyone remembers me - I only
had a few chances to get in the chat room with everyone before Yahoo
screwed it all up. The voice chat was a hoot adn I really miss it.

Anway - I wanted to say that I haven't fallen off the face of the
earth and unlike when I was here before I do have a trike project to
start this winter.

I have a frined who has 1963 Corvair w/105hp 6 cylinder and twin
rodchesters. He has owned it for 15 years but parked it 3 years ago
and just lost interest in it.

There is lots of info on VW trikes and others but I haven't found any
information on the internet on building a Corvair trike. Wish me luck!

Take care - and remember

As you collect your parts go thru and clean them, I collected some
and didn't clean when I got them, had to replace a few, not good on a
budget

As some may have heard and others not, Mike & Mary Castleton have
announced that they are wishing to step-down as BTW National
Directors. (See Triker Magazine, Director's Corner) Their reasons
for this are, "It is apparent by some of the negative feedback we get
that there appears to be a fair amount of memberes that are not so
happy with us. So we want to announce that we are now actively
seeking someone who is willing to take the job on. If you are
interested in taking our place please see the "ad" in this issue and
contact us."

Many members are now speaking up to say that they are NOT unhappy and
not to let those few spoil it for the rest of us. In an effort to
convince Mike and Mary not to step down, Invisible Man (BTW
Webmaster) and myself have put together a petition to be presented to
him at Kingsburg West-Coast Trike-In on October 11th. If you wish to
have your name counted and your voice heard, please get on the forum
and sign the petition.

Here is the link to the forum: http://www.btw-trikers.org/cgi-
bin/wwwboard/wwwboard.html See the message I made (Judy) to read
more, and click the petition at the bottom of the post (or click Sign
the Petition link at the top of the forum page or use this link to go
directly to the petition: http://www.btw-trikers.org/petition.htm

Let's get some names on there!!!

I have a Honda Magna and was wondering if anyone knew how much it
would cost about to make it into a trike. I think it would be much
easier for me to ride that way, the older I get the harder it is to
manage and hold up the two wheel bike, especially since my arthritis
is getting worse all the time....only been riding for four years but
love it and would like to continue riding....

Anyway, I'm from Tennessee and wondering how many ladies on the list.
The reason I ask is I'm writing a book about ladies who ride trikes
and would like to hear from some of the ladies out there who ride one
to see if they'd like to be part of it, by sharing their riding
experiences. You can email me off list if you'd like, its
sdicks@... thanks, Shirley

Sorry to bother you and your club, but, i am a member of NABD, and i
have a problem. I am disabled, and last year i bought a Trike,
unfortuneately, my disability has got worse, and i now find it very
difficult to drive it anymore. I was just wondering if any of your
members, or even bikers you know, would be interested in buying it?
The 1300 VW Trike is only 2 years old, and has done less than 2000
miles, and is in good condition, and very reliable. I have done some
work on it, and the only thing it really needs is a respray to your
own colours. Apart from that, there's nothing wrong with it (apart
from me!!).Anyway, the price is £2500, and i am enclosing a few pics.
If you know of anyone interested, please could you contact me at this
address : trike4sale@... or zeezeeguy@... Many
thanks and regards. Gerry.
