Description

A group for owners of vw buses (or is it busses?)--no matter if you call it a vintage bus, splitty, kombi, loaf bus, transporter, vanagon, eurovan, campmobile, westfalia, or winnebago camper-- who reside in the Ohio River valley (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania). Wannabussers are welcome! Most of us are members of the excellent Full Moon Bus Club (www.fullmoonbusclub.com). We hope you'll join FMBC also. Our goal is to attend a few FMBC events in the South per year and throw a few campouts in our area. Maybe there will also be interest in checking out Buskatiers (buskatiers.org), LIMBO or NEATO events, or even music festivals or other VW events, who knows?
Our group is small and intended primarily for local issues, not to supplant the type2, vanagon, or EV lists. For excellent technical advice from bus gurus across the nation, you should also subscribe to the lists found at vanagon.com, type2.com, vintagebus.com, or the eurovan update (it's a yahoogroup) for technical info as there are more folks on those lists. Come join us!

Re: Buses & boats
I ran a pertronix for years. Mine was reliable but I also just kept a spare distributor. If anything failed, it would have been easy enough to drop the new

Re: Buses & boats
Others have brought their own kayaks in the past. I imagine you pay a fee to Little Miami Canoe for transportation and join one of the many trips they offer
