Hi all
.
Have just had this forwarded to me -
.
I visited Silver Star/ Seren Arian earlier today and noticed the two Bristol
Re's still in situ, One being JWU335J ex West Yorks. Having spoken to the
fleet manager, he stated both buses were going for scrap NEXT FRIDAY, unless
some one comes forward. Both buses start up believe it or not!
I believe he is willing for them to be 'given away' rather than go to scrap. So
could you please post the information on your site. Would be a shame
to see them scrapped. Contact the fleet manager direct.

Hi all
.
Griffiths, Dinorwic,VR - DCA525X
.
This may interest preservationists, especially those in north Wales, the vehicle
is apparently available for sale from Griffiths - if not purchased it is likely
it will go for scrap in the same way that their centre exit PFC513W did several
months ago.
Griffiths still have BMA521W in service.

Hi all
Just recieved this information -
From Blackpool to Bournemouth:
The two open top Bristol VRTs currently being refurbished by the BusWorks in
Blackpool are destined for summer use in Bournemouth, along with two
ex-Bournemouth Fleetlines! TotallyTransport CIC, that trades as ClassicBus
Lancashire and the BusWorks, has entered a partnership with Transdev Yellow
Buses to operate open top service 12 during the summer. The partnership, also
involving Southdown PSV, will form a new operating company “Classic Southdown
Omnibuses Ltd”.
WTG360T is the first bus to be repainted in a version of Bournemouth’s
original yellow & maroon livery and ex-Crosville VRT DCA528X is now receiving a
similar livery style.
Service will start on Saturday 28th June and run until end of September,
possibly October
Full time & part time drivers are being recruited – call Gary Wood if you’re
interested on 07526 618841 for more details or email info@...

Visited Cibyn, Silver Star's Caernarfon HQ, today - for the first time ever and
noted quite a few mystery/ unidentifiable vehicles.
Can anyone help with ???
1. A coach lettered for Grindles - an operator I've never heard of.
2. A bit of a wreck parked next to CRG163.
3. A Carlyle or Duple - bodied Dart.
4. A decrepit minibus.
5. A dart/ Wright.
6. An LH (UVX 6 S?) - carrying C84 as a route number !!!!!
If it helps they were parked in that order down the site.
Oh, and inside the depot was what looked like a newish Wright-bodied saloon in
white livery.
