I joined the group to get more information on CA16DE and CA18DE engines for a
project I have going on.
I'm in the US but there is not much infor on CA engines here any longer.
Everyone has built SR stuff here and there is voluminous information in the US
about SR20's etc. I am building a track car in a class that can use any of the
engines up to an 1800cc limit. That is why I am looking for more comprehensive
information on CA18DE's as they may be less expensive to build than SR16VE's.
The ther reason that I may favor the CA18 over the SR16 is that the engine have
to run behind a single inlet air restrictor. The bore/stroke ratio of the CA is
likely to work better than that of the short stroke big bore of the SR. I will
be watching the information that is discussed and look at some previous posts
before I ask too many questions.
