Re: [Neon SOHC Power] Older Members Anything New?

I dunno, those times seem pretty good on a stock turbo. *shrug*

I still have my SRT, and it's still for sale. I don't want to be rid of it, but
I gotta trim the fat...

I'm seriously considering the move out of the US myself. But where to go? The
job situation isn't any better in Europe than it is here. And when you do get a
job, watch out for cost-of-living expenses... whoo! There are hundreds of
thousands of young, college educated people in Europe still living with their
parents because they can either not find a job, or, when they do, they can't
afford their own place. I wonder what the job situation is like in Costa Rica.
:P

Oh, and I've looked in Dubai, but it seems my experience level is not quite high
enough for a real living wage there, either. heh Something about high wages and
no income tax (and not being HERE) really speaks to me, though. ;)

I haven't been around in awhile, thought I would check-in.

SRT-4 is running good, boost problems thought prevent me from

improving on the 12.74@... I ran at Famoso and the 13.06@... I ran

at Pomona for the last ever NHRA Sport Compact event Finals. Those

times ran with the stock turbo in place.

I have been S3R since March but haven't really had time to sort out

the reasons why I don't see much more boost then I did with the stock

turbo.

Outside of that, nothing special going on, just waiting for SEMA

Show. I believe this will be the last year under the Pep Boys banner,

I had planned on leaving the company when I take my vacation to Europe

last winter (march/april) and spend 10-12 days in Europe looking at my

options for being an Expat.

Yep you heard correctly, I don't like the way the direction the

country is going, plus the fact I would like to get married and have

children there's no way I can do it on a Pep Boys salary one, two and

health care cost of skyrocketed, so until we have a social system much

like most of Western Europe, I think I need to hang out in Western

Europe for a few years.

Nothing is locked in stone yet, but in any event I do want to spend

another extended stay in Europe like I did in 2007.

Well just keeping in contact.
