Another thumbs up on the Scotch Guard. I have washed my jacket about once or twice a year for 6 years and it still repels water. Jim

Marc Sounds like you needed the "delicate" cycle. You're bound to lose the origional repellant ability in a full machine wash cycle. Try spray-on Scotch Guard

Last week I washed my Darien jacket for the first time in 2 years. It was still shedding water but it had 35,000 miles of bugs, sparrow and cardinal leftovers
