Re: [RE][mx6] Not getting started!!!!

In the USA a distributor costs $250 - $700. They are pricey. Dizzies for manuals are more expensive because they are more complicated. The ones from parts discounters can be unreliable so check the guarantee. Some are defective right out the box.

Mazda parts are expensive but reliable.

I bought a replacement one from Distributor King good price, lifetime replacement guarantee. They have replaced 3 in the last 15 months. I just paid return shipping. Two were defective right out the box. At least they stand by their guarantee and they are fairly close to my home.

Don't bother with a used part useless you've seen the car it came from running.

Just check wiring, cap and plugs to make rule out all other possibilities.

Mike
