Sorry folks, but this event has to be cancelled and scheduled for another time.
Too many conflicts in people's schedules. More details to follow.

napkins, silver, playful but aging dog, yada yada. Bring a plate to share and
good wishes.

Great car, strong motor, shifts beautifully.
Brand new tires.
the bad -
An extra long Lug bolt knocked a brake spring loose, and the drum is on too
tight for me to fix.
Once fixed brakes are great.

Is it a dualport or singleport? that makes a difference in the carb manifold
size, I have adapters to make any carb fit on whatever intake but its always
best to have as little changes to an intake as possible to make it run best.do
you have the old carb? Where are you located?

Hey guys, can someone tell me how I can tell if the hubcaps I have are
aftermarket or original? Would pic's help? Appreciate the input, cuz I would
like to sell them.
We will have a caravan from the Starbucks in Prunedale (at 156 and 101) this
Saturday, Sept 26 with the intent of leaving around 0815 to arrive in Gilroy
before 0900. If you are coming through Prunedale to get to Gilroy, swing off the
road and join us.
Hi All,
We wanted to remind you the San Benito County Cruise will be taking place
next Saturday 9/26.
We will meet up in Gilroy, CA at the Starbucks parking lot (At the corner
of 10th St. and Camino Arroyo: 6865 Camino Arroyo, Gilroy, CA).
The first 10 cars to arrive will receive a complimentary dash magnet.
We will roll out of Gilroy at 10am.
The Pietra Santa Winery is expecting us for wine tasting. They charge a
$5 tasting fee for those who wish to participate, otherwise you can kick
back and enjoy the view.
Our lunch stop, Relax, Chillin & Grillin, has been nice enough to make us
a MPAS banner, which will be on display and have reserved the patio area
for us.
If anyone has questions, please shoot us an email or give me (Sean) a call
(408-476-4697).
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

If they are the light weight aftermarket ones, they are worth 5 to 10 each, if
they are original, they are worth probably 3 x that.

looking to sell. Can anyone give me an idea of what they are worth. They are not
rusty and I think in fairly decent condition. Thanks for your input.. Debbie

The plan is to meet in Gilroy at the Starbucks parking lot (Off of 10th

Sean is working on a flyer to hand out and we'll have a map of the route
up soon.

Hi All,
We are planning a 60 mile cruise around the back roads of San Benito County.
We will have a couple of stops, one being a winery, where you can choose
to taste or just enjoy the views.
The cruise will end at Relax, Grillin' and Chillin', our counties newest
family friendly burger and beer place.
The cruise is planned for September 26th.
More details to follow.

HI,fellow MPAS members and VW enthusiasts! I am currently in training with the
Luekemia and Lymphoma Society to run the San Franciso Nike Women's Marathon. I
will be running in honor of my dad, Daniel Provo, and anyone who's lives have
been touched by blood cancers. In order to participate, I have committed myself
to raise $2500.00 for this charity. So, I am calling on all MPAS members and VW
enthusiasts who knew and loved my Dad, and his '67 Yellow Panel Bus to help me
with my fundraising efforts. It is 100% tax deductible, and you can donate
online by going to this link:
http://pages.teamintraining.org./sjnikesf09/kprovo. I will even wash your VW if
you want me to! Thanks for reading this and no donation is too small. Sincerely,
