HI Jim,
Just a thought, but if Scott is going to cruise 17 mile drive, then going down
to Cannery Row would fit in too.

Airhead Parts <http://www.airheadp arts.com/> /KGPR (Karmann Ghia Parts &
Restoration) <http://www.karmanng hia.com/> has setup the dates for the

I have talked to Scott Dempster of Airhead Parts/KGPR last Sunday at
Sacramento Bug-O-Rama and one of the stops is Whale Watching cruise
aboard a 50' catamaran in Santa Barbara which Scott will be the captain.

Scott also mentioned that he is going to talk to the Santa Cruz pier
staff to close a section of parking stalls for a mini-carshow and later
have dinner at the Mexican restaurant (Wednesday, August 5th).
So this is where you MPAS Volks can plan on helping out Scott as we come
through the Monterey Peninsula.
As part of the agenda, Scott has planned to be taking the 17-mile Drive
as part of the cruise.
Any other interests that might be worth visiting as we pass through?

Scott is still planning more ideas as time works its way towards August.
I will be heading up to Portland and be cruise with them down to
Ventura.
Check out the blog from our cruise last year from the Airhead Parts/KGPR
Treffen X VW Cruise from SoCal Bug-In 33 to the SF Bay Area, then back
down to Ventura cruising along the PCH -
