This list is N.American resource for anyone interested in Motogiro, the classic Italian riding event in Italy. We offer insight,tips, a way to meet other participants, get help with travel planning, etc. Members of this group have ridden in all classes vintage to touring. Questions can be directed to the group or to Vicki Smith at veloce916@aol.com who admins this site and has ridden in all 10 Motogiros. We require membership approval to deter spammers.
We are also happy to help and answer questions about the other Motogiro event held in Italy in summer, the Motoclub of Terni event, which was started a few years ago to compete with the Motogiro that re-established the brand. (Per the Italian Court in Firenze, the Terni event is now officially called Motogiro d'Italia. The DreamEngine2 event retains the familier logo, and the name Motogiro.)

MOTOGIRO 2011 Jun. 6th-11th
This year the event will depart from Bologna and pass through Cinque Terre, Lunigiana, stop in Livorno and then go onto Terre Senesi, Garfagnana, and back to Bologna,through the provinces of Emilia, Liguria and Tuscany.
Dream Engine2 for 2011 offers an itinerary that includes five days, each day offering 250 kilometres of enjoyable roads and spectacular Italian views. Excellent food and comfortable hotels are included in the package.
