Hi All,

I used to be involved in the club many years ago, but haven't been in the
hobby much due to lack of a garage/space to work on cars.

Due to a family tragedy, I've been thrown back in. Essentially I've taken
ownership of my Mom's 65 convertable Valiant.

Not to be long-winded, but a 318 was installed and at the same time
converted to an electronic ignition. For some reason the alternator is not
charging. I'd try and fix this myself, but have no access to a garage.

So what I'm looking for is a mechanic that is familiar enough with the
aspects of converting an older car to an electronic ignition to help
troubleshoot and fix the car. The car can sit for awhile, so I'd be even
interested in somebody that does moonlighting work. The car needs some
other things, so if a relationship can be had, there might be more work
down the line - most of the issues seems to be electronic in nature.

The car is currently in Chico and I live in San Francisco - so essentially
I'd be OK with finding anybody from Chico to San Jose.
