It maybe look high but is still under roof height of the radiobox. I made it a little higher is i maybe construct a hardtop, i can always cut down the vertical part at top.
Dont think that the height is only needed to go tru deep water. It happens that rain water get sucked in tru the sleeves on the side. Also entereing water can cause a bow wave (?) thats so high that water gets sucked in. And dont forget, when going not that deep into water you might drop the right front wheel into a not seen hole and the intake is suddenly to deep.
I scored a bracket for an extra mount yesterdayevening, will mount that today between the pipe and mirrormount. I would like to be able to drop the window, so i wont mount it higher.
