abt standard tyre... not so good when the road is wet. Also when riding on the white/yellow lines.... here is my tips... This is apply ONLY on dry road with standard tyre. When you took cornering, let say on left side, then practise as usual (common sense - that you will balance your body) by offset your left knee a bit. You will feel no 'gayat' anymore. p/s. what TT stand for, short form for what? Sori I don't know, maybe I should not ask this question ;-) .

I just ordered a red elegan last sat..(giving up
driving and less petrol, toll and jam). can't wait to
get my hand on it.. (the agony of waiting) my dealer
said should be by this week...

Want to check, saw from other forum:

1. the standard tayar not good during corner nor rain
issit true? and need to change with pirreli one (350
pair),

2. Has anyone thinking to change the bore and piston
with sym joyride 180 cc?? (and where to get the parts
if its available localy)

Should not to screw back to get the reading. just insert dipstick as possible then take it off. If u get reading almost full at the marking indicator, should be ok.

Hi all.  I wonder whether anyone knows whether we should screw the
dipstick back in to take a reading of the oil level.  It seems to me
that since the high/low indicator is only about 1cm, screwing the
dipstick or not makes a world of difference whether we are taking an
accurate reading.

engine oil grade for elegan is SAE 10W-30. this is stated in booklet. u can use any brand but follow the grade, and I think up to 40 also suitable. for gear oil use SAE 140, and this is must, dont ever use below this grade, e.g SAE 90.

dunno about the gear oil.. last time (5K km) i leave the bike to the
shop and let them done it.. cant wait coz time to change the gear oil,
engine oil plus svc the belt is almost 3 to 4 hrs.. so i trust them to
change it without seeig it.. i feel after the belt svc and gear oil
change, the bike response better eg like when u r at high speed, the
blet control the idle that suppose it be.. can feel like jerking but i
confident with it..
and for the engine oil since 1st svc i used Motul for scooter..
costing RM29.. quite expensive coz the normal Motul is only RM19 to
RM20..

I just replace my rear tire due to got 4 pcs of nails inside it..
puncture very slowly (after 2 days)..
then this morning bring it to my regular shop and the mechanicsshows
me the cheapest tire  (made in Msia) VIVA.. dunno how the perfomance
of the tire.. it cost me RM90... but looks the 'bunga' like nice..
anyonce using it?
