Hello Folks,

This is the last call for the Coulee Classic. The weather people are
promising that our bout with global warming will moderate this evening
and hold off through at least Saturday. Take advantage of the cooler
weather and come on down and enjoy the Coulee Classic Rally. The best
all paved roads and scenery within 100 hundred miles of the metro area
followed by a scrumptious Picnic Italiano. Easy enough that even those
who have never run a rally before will be able to follow the course, get
the knack of the timing, and wonder why they hadn't tried rallying
earlier. And yet the roads are entertaining enough that serious SCCA
national ralliests drive all the way across Wisconsin to participate.
Don't be intimidated however. Last spring, a Citroën 2CV with three
people aboard and a speedometer reading in whole kilometers came within
3 points of taking first overall against strong SCCA competition in a
new Mustang.

Get your pre-registration form postmarked by Tuesday, August 1st to get
$5.00 off the entry fee. If you are on one of the e-groups that doesn't
allow attachments, we'll give you the discount if you email your request
for a pre-registration form on Tuesday and promise to show up on
Saturday. Since we need to know how much food to purchase and prepare,
it is important for you to get your pre-registrations and RSVP's in.
