So far it looks like you, me, "Dudley DoRight,
and Annie O. & "Dorothy".....but I sent a notice to
all the members in the Twin Cities area, so maybe
we'll be surprised and others will
show.

Anyways, I'll bet the kids will get a kick out of our
Minis!

message board. Of course you may continue as members, we
are proud to have international members in our

and leave your country. There are a good number of
Minis in Canada, and maybe you will own Minis again
soon. Perhaps, now that you are in Canada, you will
have a chance to travel to Minnesota some day, and we
would have the pleasure of meeting you in
person.

It is good to know that at least your website will
continue.

Best Wishes,

Karl

Hi Pat......Welcome!

Wow, so many Pats to keep track of!

By way of
introduction....Pat L. is a long-time member and he IS from Washington State
(sorry about that again Pat J.).
Hey, this seems like a good idea. I've owned my
'61 850 since about '81 or so. Been on the Autox-mini
list just about since it started... seems like it was
about '88! Anyway, this seems like a pretty good way to
keep in touch and send photos. Hope it goes as
planned.
Pat
FYI....jkar is Karl, MMPEAPSHA's other
co-founder, our Event MINIster, and owner of "Mr. Peepers" a
Mini 1000 (pieces).

Elva is not only the editor
of the British Saloon Car Club of Canada's
newsletter the OILY RAG, she (and her husband David) are
also a members of MMPEAPSHA and proud owners of
"Nigel", a '79 Mini 1000, and "Mad Max", a '76 Mini
1000.

If you notice any similarity between the OILY RAG
and THE OILY EDITION.....coincidence, just
coincidence (yeah, sure!) OK, we stole it, but she's been
real nice about it!
Hi folks,
I am the editor of the Oily Rag
newsletter for the British Saloon Car Club of Canada and
have been receiving the online newsletter from you
folks for quite a while now. This new club is a great
idea! Best of luck.

We have a mailing list with
yahoo groups and it's a pretty busy place, I bet you
guys will do very well too!

Elva Allen
By the powers vested in me as Co-Founder (and
belevolent despot) of MMPEAPSHA, you are hereby officially
designated as "MMPEAPSHA Messageboard Maven"!

As
compensation for keeping and maintaining our messageboard, you
get 50% off our free membership dues.
:o)

Thanks a lot Pat....we really appreciate your initiative
in getting this thing going.

Jim B.
Nice seein' you guys here.

Pat J. &
Dan....wish I could take credit for this, but our Wunnerful
New Message Board is the brainchild of our new
member, Pat U. from Wisconsin. Pat has a Mini Mk. III (?)
of unknown parentage. :o)

Pat U.....Dan is
one of our Twin Cities area members. He has Mk.I Mini
in the process of (lots of) restoration. Pat J. is
from Washington state and is the author of those great
"How To Stuff A Wild Mini" articles in THE OILY
EDITION.

Hey, isn't this NEAT?

Jim B.
I was just thinking the other day about when the message board was going to be
up and running for the club, and what do you know here it is! Great work
everybody!

Pat Johnston
Hey guys & gals, don't forget our meeting this
Saturday, May 12, 2001.

. We'll meet at Karl
Jenstad's house, 2821 W. 70th St., Richfield, MN for the
May Mini-Sota Mini's "ITALIAN JOB" Mini Cruise . To
get to Karl's house take 494 to Penn Ave. and go
north to W. 70th or take the 62 Crosstown and get off
on Penn Ave. south. Turn west onto W. 70th St. Just
after the third stop sign, it's the 2nd house on the
left. We'll have an easy afternoon cruise along some
interesting roads in the South Metro area, avoiding as many
"stop & go" streets as possible, and no crowded
freeways. Maps provided at the start.

The cruise
starts promptly at 1:30 and will finish at about 2:30 at
Fireside Pizza, 6736 Penn Ave., South, in Richfield, MN.
If you'd prefer not to do the drive, but just meet
for pizza, the restaurant is at the corner of Penn
and 67th St. Please call or e-mail Karl Jenstad at:
(612) 869-7611 or jenstad@... for directions and
so that he can let the restaurant know how many
people are coming. Your Mini will NOT be pitched from a
bus, high on a mountain road in the Italian Alps, as
there just wasn't time to arrange for that sort of
thing on short notice...maybe next time!
Hi Pat....

I just sent out an e-mail MMPEAPSHA BULLETIN to all of our
on-line members informing them of our neat new Message Board....that oughta drum
up a little business.
Members, when posting photos, please use the resize option. Resize your photo to
the SMALL format, this will allow MORE photos to be available for viewing on
this club page.

Thanks
Pat
