In Oakland County, there will be a full closure of eastbound and westbound
I-696 between M-5 and US-24 (Telegraph Road) beginning at 9p.m. on Friday
and ending by 5a.m. on Monday. Ramp closures most likely will begin after
7p.m. The ramp closures are necessary for bridge demolition, which include
Halstead Road over I-696 and portions of I-696 over Drake Road, and Orchard
Lake Road over I-696.

The following ramps will be closed:
Northbound I-275 to eastbound I-696
Orchard Lake Road to westbound and eastbound I-696
Ramps from Telegraph and M-10 to westbound I-696
Ramp from westbound M-5 to eastbound I-696
Ramp from eastbound M-5 to eastbound I-696

I'll check out the maps and find an alternate route for the east siders.
