If it has thye Ford kit frame you can use any V6 I am aware of as well as small block V8's 302, 350. Steering extension and radiator will have to be adjusted....

If it has the straight extension rod start by replacing that with a rod with at least 1 universal joint. Also would use a flange or plate bearing to line up...

It is possible that that stupid muffler clamp crimped the tube. Would pull the guts out of the tube a simple enough operation. Check the front end allignment...
