so far i havent seen this much except for one or two mickey mouse parts
here and there. 1/2 way thru 63 resto. example:old steering wheel was
junk. wanted motolita 15"wheel. moss price $370. went to england.more
selection than moss. wheel was $215+$80 shipping (would not ship
surface-website told don't even ask to) at motolita uk. looked up same
wheel at motolita usa. price was $215+$15 shipping from florida.
motolita wheels always went nuts on ebay. wasn't worth my time when a
beat up piece of junk with rotten wood sells for $20 less than a new
one. patina my butt. bought correct genuine ml hub on ebay beforehand
tho $30 buy it now+ $10 shipping. used ex cond same as moss $100 part.
sometimes ya just gotta do alittle more hunting and use all the
resources stateside. especially when ya get killed on shipping. another
great example is an aluminum valve cover. mech spec (uk) on ebay wants
$50+$12 for the cap (sold sepeperatly?)+$30 shipping. moss just put the
same part on sale $84 with the cap and anything over a $600 order is
free ship. 1/2 way thru a full resto and ya don't think i can't cough up
a $600 order? do like mech specs electronic fuel pump price tho. now
only if somebody carried it stateside so i didn't get killed on the
shipping .
