Hi Marc, I just missed you. Spent other night in Nashville on the way
home to Wilmington, Ohio with a MG in the trailer. I'm from
Louisville but grew up in Portsmouth Ohio. Wilmington is in SW Ohio.
This site was set up mostly for our local SW Ohio Car Club as a place
to chat. All are welcome; it's been slow getting a lot of chat going
though.
There are a lot of "Bs" in the club but we do have a lot of the other
types as well, even some pre-war cars. (There is even one guy with a
Triumph, but he catches hell at every meeting) My wife and I are a
bit over the edge when it comes to MGs. I won't say how many cars
except at least one of every post war and a few pre war cars. I have
4 MGCs, tow GTs and one of the roadsters is an auto. My MGC # is 299.
We are right now in the planning stage for the trip to the MGB meet
in St. Louis in June. We will drive at least 4 of our cars (both Sons
have MGBs of their birth year) Our younger Son has the LE that is
pictured on the home page.
Anyway, welcome to the club as well as the few others that have
joined in past few weeks.
One was looking for some MG links, as I get time I will post them in
the link section. Feel free to do the same.
Also please put some basic information in your profile. We are not
looking for you phone number and address but at least a name, city,
age and such. It's nice to go look at the profile, you never know,
they might be just up the street and you can do MG things together. I
went so far as to put my picture in my profile,,,, there are worse
things on the net :-)
Enough for one post,
Terry.
