Quantum Technologies in California manufacture a line of gaseous fuel injectors.
You will have to contact them to find a distributor.
Liquid propane injection, it can be done but simpler is to let the LPG
transition to gaseous state and control from there. Pressure is a little easier
to manage, plus you get better mixing of fuel and air.
However, from the sounds of it, you are not necessarily interested in ultimate
economy or emissions.
Good Luck

have found some gas injectors but they see to be mainly sold in Europe and to
date if have found no one States side who will sell just the propane gas
injectors and not the whole system.

liquid injection system so it is possible. With this setup accurately fuel
metering is within the realm regardless of the 1-250 expansion of the gas.
