I own 3 of the NJT 1987 MCI-9's that covered the planet in the last
few years. The 6V92 engine for environmental polution reasons were
detuned from 330 HP down to about 277. It also only rev to about
1750RPM.

I know it has the added Catalytic convertor, DDEC1 computer with
downgraded chip to detune, I also told that there may be a different
camshaft. I don't know if all of this is true, I also don't know if
there were other things done. I'm trying to get back the other 50 HP.
Does anyone know the details on this conversion, or where I could
find out more about it.

Thanks,

mike
