I have tried it once before on a windshield and not succeeded :) My advice would be #1 be careful not to put any pressure with a screw driver or prying device...

Frank The trim is removed with a tool that looks like an arrow. The point on the arrow finds a loop on the back of the trim and relaeses the pressure on it...

My method back when I had Corvairs (after the chrome is removed) was to get a little hole started in the rubber gasket with a pocket knife or box knife digging...
