Description

After a century of technical dead ends it's time to rethink our approach to electric powered vehicles and start again, keeping things small -and simple. Too many electric vehicles are based on platforms that were originally designed for internal combustion engines and will most certainly fail to properly use the existing technology that is at our disposal.

Enter the LEV (Light Electric Vehicle). Affordable, easy to use and maintain, practical, and efficient, today's LEV's incorporate bicycle and ultralight aircraft technology into their designs, in stark contrast to NEV's(Neighborhood Electric Vehicles), which are, for the most part, made-up golf carts with decades-old technology just beneath the surface.

This is a forum who's sole purpose is to spotlight and encourage others in their pursuit of what they feel to be the ideal Light Electric Vehicle, and to enable the free exchange of information and ideas.

Our projects will, no doubt, appear strange and unorthodox, but all will be light and nimble. And isn't that what elegant simplicity is all about?

Welcome aboard, as we all have chosen a hobby that will more than likely prove to be far more difficult and time consuming -and more fun, than we ever imagined.

Re: Back To The Future - The Future of 2-Wheeled LEVs
Very informative, thanks for the Link. Personally though-I think the biggest problem with Scooters in the US is the armada of SUVs screaming down the highways
