my two cents

I had a friend from Hong Kong come here. I took her to zoo, downtown, etc.
many places listed here. Then for some reason I ended up taking her to
Norstroms Rack in Mission Valley where she spent the whole day and bought about
20 pairs of shoes and she said that was the best place she had been to.

Another thing she was surprised about were the rocks in the mountains off of I-8
as you go over the top to the desert. I have a hunch these might be unique.

I think that the buildings of Balboa Park, built for an Exposition in the early 20th Century in the Spanish Colonial style are gorgeous! Many are now museums...

There are other locations that have beautiful rocks like these (for example, Baja California and going South on CA-247 into Yucca Valley). We marvel at them...
