Hi, I don't know if anyone has helped you or not but I had tackled this project
when my RX 350 was brand new.

The hitch is readly available for about $250.00 at various hitch sites on the
web. The wiring is a little bit trickier.

I found the factory installed plug under the flooring in the trunk area. You
only have to take out a couple of plastic fastners and it is about midway up
toward the left side of the car. It is in plain site. You can either cut the
plug off and hard wire your new plug or get the factory part from Lexus. I just
cut it off and spliced the new one in...
