Unfortunately one thing you learn from playing with these cars for 7 years is
the variety of false codes you get, it is actually quite scary.
Interestingly though, once I converted mine to a V4 STi driveline, engine, ECU,
etc any code I have got has been spot on !

When my AFM went, it showed a code 23 so I'll go out on a limb and suggest that
it's probably ok...
I'd be thinking some crud got in thru the torn hose and is blocking something or
causing something to stick. You might have to clean out that unit that all the
hoses go into.
Have you got a boost gauge? I'd say checking out the boost pressure is the first
port of call. Any boost controller in place?
Best of luck!

How much time do you have....
There are about 10 million things which can cause this code, it's a generic "I
don't know what's wrong" code.
Things to try...
AFM
ISC valve
Speed sensor
Oxygen sensor
Water temp sensor
If you have access to a select monitor or OBD scanner you should be able to
monitor the values of these sensors to ascertain if they are OK or not.

Subject: [B4] Code 66
1994 Subaru Legacy, twin turbo, BD4, EJ20. when driving the car
specially when rpm pass 3000, the car just like cut off many times,
when reduce the speed, goes fine, check engine on, scanned and found
code 66 which is Twin Turbo System.
Check the system and found a vacum hose torn. Replaced this hose and
car stopped doing the cut off but check engine still on. Reset the
memory by scanner, but check engine return back again. scanned again
and found code 66. Turbo system seems work fine. any idea?
thanks
