Good Day, I just got a legacy straight from japan, 2001 B4 RSK auto
transmission. Here are my problems, i hooked up a boost gauge and its
reading 7 lbs, i changed the plugs (ngk), fuel filter, air filter, oil
filter, all genuine. The car does not accelerate smooth at all, its
lazy and hesitates a lot until about 5000 or 6000rpm. the car is
pinking very loud also!!!! i hooked up a manual boost controller and
it took out the hesitation but the boost is hard to control, sometimes
it spikes to over 20psi. i think the guy hooked up the boost
controller to operate basically central for both turbos, should i just
put it on the primary turbo and which one is the primary turbo? any
suggestions as to why it was hesitating and difficult to even redline?
also the pinking, what can i do to stop that?
