Ok. I'm interested. I would love to help with a design or something. P.S. we really should start working on the calendar. Let me know you schedule so we can have a planning meeting.

Hi All,
I've been reading the exchange of emails and got curious about this
event. What is exactly the Dyke March? When/ where and what time does
it start? I'd like to join in.
Thank you,
Daniela.
Hey Ladies,
I've talked to some of you individually but for the benefit of all,
here are the (slightly scooter-centric) pics from the dyke march:

I was planning on riding...folks are gathering at the Common at 6pm. People meet up at that gazebo not far from Boylston, but I don't remember the best place to put the bikes while the march is getting together (I've been on foot the last couple of years). I guess I'll circle the Common until I see some other bikes there.
Don't worry about the motorcyclists - Woody, the grand dame of Moving Violations (you know her from her rainbow mohawk) watches out for us. The year that the Pride committee stopped letting MV include "independents" in their contingent at the front of the main Pride parade, (but I didn't know that and showed up with my $2 ready to join in), she snuck me in...and the club coordinator made sure I was in front of the Harleys, so I wouldn't be "blasted out."
See you there!!
Allison
p.s. - about Saturday's parade...my wife has to march with her workplace and I'd feel weird riding solo, so I'm going to join them on foot. *sigh*...maybe next year, when she's not a new employee, she'll be able to ride cupcake with me again.

Hello :)
I bought a Met last September, and now that I've gotten more
comfortable riding her, I thought it would be fun to go on a group
ride! Are you guys still doing them though? If I'm reading the posts
right the group founder moved to Western Mass (which I could be

Sorry--I have another commitment this evening! Angie: bon voyage tonight and out to Western Mass. Enjoy! (I know you will.) Dyke March? Pride? Not sure I can, but are we organizing ourselves to ride for those?

depends on the week. I haven't strted rides back up again but we will be doing

All the rules of the ride are laid out for everyone before the ride in the

Hello, all,
Am writing to you as a new member, and am curious about your scheduled rides -
the calendar says they leave from Diesel in Davis Square, getting together at
7:30 and leaving at 8 p.m. Silly questions from a novice rider - do you often
ride after dark? How many ladies usually show up? Is there different etiquette
for riding in groups on the road - i.e. can you ride two scooters abreast? Do
you have usual routes, or go different places each time? Do you end up back at
Diesel?
FYI I have a Yamaha Zuma "twist'n'go" that I've had for about two years, and
absolutely love it. It would be great to try riding in a group of people who
get why this is so much fun 8-)
Thanks in advance for putting up with all these newbie questions...

Yes I told you. You are hiring me and I am going to design it. It's in the honor of the new company... Remember. Ha... Of course that will me we will need to meet and brainstorm.
So, Ladies Lets see. Who's in for the calendar. we do have at least 12 ladies that want to participate? Right? I will start development over the weekend. Please post you ideas so we can put it together.
We have been doing alot of talking about it. Let's do it.
