I love the Vespa Obsession, but I would prefer not to go Vespa on the
the patch since I do not ride a vespa.
Maybe something cool and shag-like would be great. I have attenpted
to add a sample shag check but if that did not work, check out this
link:

bin/ncommerce3/CategoryDisplay&cgmenbr=425845&cgrfnbr=741884&merfnbr=4

Which may not work either. SO if you want to surf it go to Shag.com
the product then checks.

Hey all,
you will get an e-mail shortly with the results of the poll. I will
be changing the name of this list to reflect our new name and
hopefully, there will be no technical glitches. I will do my best to
prevent any disasters.
The meeting was great tonight! We talked about logo ideas and if
anyone has some they would like to share, feel free. you can also
post pictures or drawings to the photos section.
Remeber that logos should be simple. The must be able to become a
patch, sticker, or other such promotional item and simple is best
for these things.
The logo idea we tossed around and enjoyed involved a teacup. I
figure it plays on the boston lady thing and would be fun on a
scooter or scooter jacket. Let us know your ideas and we can vote!
hope everyone is well and see you next week.
take care,

hey all,

far, so keep them coming. We will be narrowing it down if things get
close. Also, don't forget to check the calendar for updated meeting

Let's do this for the 14th. If there are any other ideas or if people can remind me about past suggestions let me know. The ideal place is comfy, scooter friendly, t accessable, cheap, good food, quiet, boston meto located, and lends to the highest attendance. also send directions or a link to a website with directions.

hey ladies,
Tonight's meeting was a blast. I rode in despite the rain and even
got home ok, but I acknowledge that I am nuts. I stoppped by Vespa
Boston on my way, to get oil, and the have a gorgeous pink ET2 with
a matching helmet. someone buy it before I do! I also saw the GT and
am saving my pennies. It's a huge bike but perfect for my habit of
long trips. At least on an ET2 they seem long.
Anyway, Janet and Mike came to the meeting. (mike is the one who won
the silver lammy from scomo, I can't wait to see it!) We talked
about meeting places and decided to try a few out before deciding on
one permanently. The B-side is nice, but hard to get to without a
scooter. So the collaborative decision along with the e-mails is to
try the milky way for our next meeting. Our next meeting because of
holidays is scheduled for January 7th. So, Next meeting, January
7th, Milkyway Lounge and lanes. I will get detailed directions and
an address in the next few minutes.
Meanwhile, I noticed our compatriots in RI have a group ride at Java
Speed on wednesdays at 7p. I was thinking that in order to combat
the split loyalty issue we could on occasion join the ride from
boston while RI gals could on occasion come to meetings. Let me know
also if you think this is even an issue with the distance we are
from RI.
Well, thats the update for now. Hope all is well and enjoy your

I would like to suggest that the weekly meeting be moved to JP. Maybe a place like the Gate or even the Milkyway. No offense to anyone who lives in Cambridge, but I hate going there. There is never any parking, and from Quincy, can be a real pain to get past the Big Mess. The Gate has a parking lot as well as delicious curry fries. It is pretty easy to get to, even from the T, which I think is not a longer walk than to the B-side from the redline. You would do Orange line--get off at Forest Hills - 3-5 minute walk at most
Just a suggestion.
And this all leads up to the fact that I just can't get all the way to Cambridge tonight. Sorry Angie, but I do want to attend.

hey ladies,
Once again we find ourselves with the road unscootable. Oh well. I
got at least two days of riding. Anyone else? We shall see how the
weather is by wednesday. if it's still crappy then I will send a
message out. Please check you e-mail before you leave for the
meeting. I would hate for some of our long-distance members to get
stuck. I am really happy to see people joining from as far as
connecticut! Everyone post some pictures in the photos section so we
will know each other a little better when we finally meet. If you
have scooter pictures, post those too! I have scooter pictures of
both my scoots up, the 90 is pictured with it's former owner, Karla,
who is very cool, but no longer has a scooter. Also, don't forget to
vote for a name and send me those other suggestions.

One of my favorite events is "The Pill" every Friday at Paradise. DJ
Ken plays a lot of cool Brit Pop, Mod and 60s music. Good music,
good people watching and dancing. http://www.thedise.com/lounge.html
As for the website, I have some friends who are excellent designers.
Sam Tudyk, http://tudyk.com/ and Christina Hagopian,
http://www.curlyc.com/. Both of them would most likely do it for
cheap or free. My friend Chris McRobbie costs money, but he's
excellent as well. This is one of his most recent sites:
http://www.stuartjmurphy.com/
As for the coding, I'm happy to do it. I have a good amount of free
time even with school.
See you all Wednesday!

Hey Ladies,
We are in the beginning stages and are ready to go. We have already
stirred some passions in the local scene and will keep doing so, but
we need to get a few things settled before we really get going.
Please submit name ideas for the ongoing Poll or vote for your
favorite. I have already listed the most popular submissions but may
have missed some good ones.
Please send me calendar listings for events you know of in the area

them as I learn of things so let me know.
We need a website. I will look into the tools they gave me with the
group but I know too many great web designers who would do it for
cheap or free. Give references with links to live sites or
portfolios and we can vote on a design/designer. Perhaps they can
also come up with a club logo and a patch while they are at it.
If there is any other issue you would like to address please let me
know and always remeber your netiquette. See the links for more on
this subject.
Thanks,
Angie
