Hi Ladies,
I own a Yamaha Vino and was wondering about best practices for storing
her over the winter. The owner's manual includes a section on
"long-term" storage, which lists a number of recommendations "before
storing your scooter for several months..."
These include things like:
- Drain the carberatur float chamber...
- Fill up the fuel tank and add fuel stabalizer...
- Other steps to protect and cylinder, piston rings, etc. from
corrosion...
And other things that I don't really have a clue how to do.
Last winter I just tucked her in the garage for a few months, then
brought her out in April and she started fine. Later in the season I
got a tune up and experienced no problems.
Any advice?
Big thanks,
-Deb
