I bought the chrome rear bumper letters from the dealer. Then had a
graphics shop scan the backing that the letters were stuck to, and
print some carbon fiber letters for me.

Terry, It was a rain out.... kinda, That track looks for reasons not
to open!!! It had sprinkled for about 15 min at about 5:30 pm, so
they came out at 5 to 6:00 and said that they were not going to run
the test and tune because they couldn't dry the track.... I know they
have 2 Jet dryers, Well the guy admitted that they figured it was
going to be low turn out. What BS !!! I hate that track, but its the
only track semi close by. They keep talking about building a Drag
strip in Homestead, but nothing so far. We may try and go again April
20th
Thanks for asking,
Ray
No problem Ray. BTW, did you manage to send my friend Hank Black a email
expressing his interest in getting in touch with you guy's with GTP's to hang
out etc. ? He is a really nice guy who loves his GTP. Get back to me on this, as
you guy's will like old Hank. thanks.

What you hope to get at the track this time I don't think I will be
running just to watch. 12.98 is good for now.
hey Later or see you at Towers
Cecil 98 GTP
Hey guys,
I've got a Black 98 GTP coupe with 132k on it. Its always ran great
and I can smoke most of my competition. It's modified and pushes
about 300 HP at the fly. I recently moved to Montana and the tranny
has gone south! Here are the issues-
1. At idle in park, there is a grinding noise or howl you could say,
until you shift into gear.
2. When taking off in reverse it does not always want to go, it
grinds or does not grab until you rev up to 2500-3000 rpm
3. When manually downshifting or kicking the pedal down at highway
speeds , it doesnt grab right away and slams into 3rd or 2nd
depending on how much you accelarate
4. After driving, smoke comes up from the back side of the engine.
It does shift smoothly from a stop, up into overdrive strangely
enough. I also had it flushed 10k ago and fluid level is full.
I'm thinking a possible torque convertor and also a shift selnoid.
The smoke might be because of some snapped tranny bolts or engine
mount. I do lots of work on cars and can pull the tranny out. I
have never fixed a tranny itself, only replaced with another one.
Before I go crazy on it, any other ideas or suggestions would be
appreciated.

someone that is locally to me in Florida. If someone from out of state
wants these, they can pay for the shipping. Asking Price is $400 and
that is cheap, considering what I had to pay for the wheels and tires
separately.
This conbination only has about 10 passes on them and the tread is
still like new. Email me privately at wyd_trkr@... for
Photo's, as I have no way to upload them onto the forum. Here is what
one of the wheels looks like below. If interested, you can pay me
