How many of you guy's have tried to get a Warranty Claim handled
today through Warranty Gold, to find out that you have to Pay all the
Repairs and wait 6 to 8 weeks to get your Reimbursement back??
I took my car in this morning for an Alternator problem and when
returning to pick up my car, I was presented with a $320 repair bill,
of which I was told that the representative from Warranty Gold told
my Service Director that I would have to pay the bill and then submit
it to Warranty Gold and have to wait at least 6 to 8 weeks before
they could reimburse me my $320.
Do not know about others who have the Warranty Gold Diamond 0 -
Deductible Plan like I have, but I totally think this sucks , to have
to wait on something I paid the total cost for this protection up
front and have only used it twice in 3 years.
Bottom line here is, anybody that has to take their car in for any
warranty repair work , will have to pay all incurred cost of repair
and "Wait" on Warranty Gold to get through the Chapter 11 Bankruptsy
Re-organization , meaning 6 to 8 more weeks , before you get any
monies from them at all!!!! Also, could be even longer!!
Hope this helps, as I am one unhappy camper tonight, especially when
I am leaving on vacation the end of the week and this is coming out
of my vacation monies.
