Welcome to the Killeen / Ft. Hood Chapter of the Texas 4 Wheel Drive Organization.
Our mission is to unify local area off-road vehicle owners and enthusiasts. To provide a family oriented, recreational organization. To encourage the free sharing of information on local, state, and national off-road related resources. Such as off-road trails, organization meetings and events, swap meets, mechanical and technical information, and current information on legislation that effects the freedoms of off-road vehicle owners. Also to provide a voice to help protect those freedoms.
Membership in our organization is free. The TX4WD Organization has local chapters throughout the State of Texas. As a member you are free to meet with and go off-roading with your local chapter or any of the statewide chapters. Membership is free and will always remain free. All members must be at least 18 years of age, own a valid driver's license, and own a registered and licensed 4 wheel drive vehicle.
We also ask that you realize that we do have a small political purpose. Political only in that we are lobbying Ft. Hood. We are lobbying them to open up for 4-wheeling again. Please keep this in mind when you join. We need ACTIVE members as a support base. Also, if you have anything to contribute to this cause... Speak-up!!
Happy Wheeling!!
