For those that may be interested,I have done some mods to wife's
500 LTD in the last couple weeks. I have had good luck interchanging
parts from the VN800A and the 500LTD. I have changed the
handlebars, windshield, and added a light bar all from the 800a
model.Waiting on a set of risers from Aeromach 2x1 1/2 to compelete
the bars.Put stock Nomad risers on for now while waiting.
Also changed front and rear sprockets with help from Biker Bill on
which sizes to get (Thanks Biker Bill).Got the stock engine guard for
the 500LTD and put some Kuryakyn highway pegs on.Changed the grips to
a Harley style that wife liked. Have to do a little modifying to get
the throttle sleeve to work but it does.
Hope this helps out anyone having trouble finding parts for their
EN500LTD.
