Hey,

I have a 1990 EX250 with about 17,000 miles on it.

It won't keep running. I removed the carb and cleaned it.
I had found it was separated from the air box but after cleaning and making sure it was
correctly fitted to the air box it still will not run.

It start if the choke is all and runs. If the throttle is opened it stalls.

if the choke is turned down it stalls.

Could this be spark related? Where can I buy new coils?

Best Regards,
Carlos

If I were to assume that the bike used to run fine and just hasn't in a while, I would not focus on the carb internals. Yes they might need a good cleaning...
