Basic physics Longer and wider cars are more stable.
Rear wheel drive cars are subject to the "inverted pendulum effect"
Frontwheel drive cars are stable as hell under power, but when that power
goes away things can get real exciting....
But like you said there is a price to be paid to having the worlds fastest
sunbeam.
