you will come to really appreciate what your SUV can and cannot do.
With guidance from the experienced coaches, you will endure arduous
classroom lectures days before the designated weekend. The theoretical
knowledge will then be applied in a specially designed track.

Howdy Folks!

We're finally back online! (phew!)

Yes! We know you miss us, and we sure miss your postings in the forum.

We were in no man's land for a couple of days, as our hosting company
shut us out! Due to daily high traffic congestion, their server
couldn't take it anymore!

Now that we've found a new hosting company, and let's hope that they
can keep up with our huge bandwidth usage (fingers crossed!).

Land Rover Owners Singapore is appealing for volunteers to deliver
supplies including over-the-counter drugs, wound dressings and
vitamins, canned food, blankets and sheets to Krabi on this coming
31st December 2004 (Friday).

If you're keen in joining the 16 Land Rovers, kindly be at 11 Watten
View by 8pm and load up the items and convoy briefing.

There's an oversupply of goods but insufficient vehicles to do the job.

Let's pool in to help those afflicted by the Asian Tidal Waves.

Tragedy struck really close to home this week. At the time this appeal
is being penned, two of our fellow Singaporeans has lost their lives
to the disaster, along with 80,000 others.

As soon as the Asian Tidal waves was coined, trumpets were sound that
people need help. You may have pitched in cash or in kind. If you
haven't, you should. Here is another opportunity for us to do our bit.

Do it for our very neighbours that are so close to us. The multitudes
that have been displaced need our help and every bit of cash we pledge
helps.

This Saturday, 1 Jan 2005, first day of the brand new year, we are
meeting up to pool together what we can. The money raised will go
towards the Mercy Relief Fund. This voluntary initiative will go
towards the humanitarian relief and rehabilitation operations that are
now underway to help. You can find out more about the fund at
www.mercyrelief.org.

We will be gathering at Café@100 along Selegie Road from 3.30pm till
evening. It was previously a Kopitiam chain outlet and it faces the
famous beancurd joint. Bring cash or cheques made to 'Mercy Relief'

We'll be heading to a *secret* location along east coast of Malaysia, so
don't bother asking where .... just tag along!

It's the usual RV point at Petronas Station after 2nd Link check point - so
be there before 1pm.

Off Road?
No! So any type of tires will do just fine - only NO to sedans, saloons,
vans and MPVs.

Dear Folks!

It has been some time since we last got together well, here’s the much
awaited reunion. Come 7th August 2004, we are organising a little retreat to
the picturesque Seaview Resort, Malaysia.

The agenda is straightforward: we get there; we chill.

Beach bums can lay to waste on the clean sands sheltered by casuarinas. Sea
otters can go hit the waves, either on your own oars/paws or rent speedy jet
skis. If you so prefer, there’s a pool for those not keen on getting sand in
your shorts. There will be places for you to just practice your swing or
just stretch out with a good book.

It’ll be a blast.

The briefing session will be happening on the weekday evening prior to
the off-roading.
