It’s been a while since we lasted sent you a nicely layout newsletter.

Been busy working hard to keep our day jobs, switching to the new iMac (yes! we’re Mac users!), a short visit to Japan (meeting those wonderful people in 4x4 Magazine), organizing Safari Challenges as well as Adventure Trips (oh yes! where are the photos? Well, almost done and in quicktime if you asked) and those lazy excuses. Have recently completed editing a 45 minutes footage of Adventure Trip 3 & 4, soon to be released on VCD and DVD if possible ­ want a copy?

It’s buzzing in our Community Board, as you can spot a handful of new Jimny owners screaming for attention, a mini gathering in the NTU campus and so on. Great indeed to see the Board is alive again! BTW, thanks to Jonathan for the anonymous contribution to keep the ezBoard going for another six months ­ Advertisement FREE!

Also on our itinerary, the Safari Challenge 7 will be in place on 24-25 August (we need 5 vehicles to kick off). Ex-Challengers are encouraged to participate for a minimal fee (track & foods), so want to try out your lifted or new improved 4x4? Now’s the time!

More things to come, including a six part series on Mission to India, the Johore Off Road Challenge, slide show on our past Adventure Trips, our new jeepnation tees, and whatever that comes along the way.

Some time ago there was some suggestions from members that we, the dedicated members of the one and only Jeepnation in Singapore could organise a Charity Drive to raise funds for the needy and also at the same time raise our profile in the motoring circle.

Look no further, for here is one worthy cause to contribute just $10 for a Car Wash. All proceeds will be in aid of the Spastic Children’s Association. 

With at least 50 (expected turnout) of our 4-wheelers around the Fort Canning Park, would surely make heads turn and strike an impact to the visitors of the POW WOW. 

The Youth Expedition Program (YEP) is a program of the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) where youths from institutes of higher learning and the public can embark on Community Service Projects to the less developed countries. You can learn more of this program at the gathering.

We suggest Jeepnation members can meet at Fort Canning Park between 10 am to 11 am for the car wash.
