I understand that a few of you are planning on comming out to CA soon.
I currently live 30 minutes from Johnson Valley. What trails were you
planning on running? Were you planning non meeting any one out here? If
you give me your proposed dates on being here I can set up with my 4x4
club to meet you out there also. Just wondering if you were planning on
trying the hammers? If so let me know.

I grew up in East Texas, graduated from Winona in 96.  I was looking
around at clubs from my home area and found you guys, not only that but
there's now a big park for us nearby as well.  I'm in the Army,
stationed in Newport News, Virginia.  I'm very active in my club,
Darkside Offroad (www.dso4x4.com) and Virginia Four Wheel Drive
Association.  By the way, my rig is a 94 Wrangler that still looks
kinda like a Sahara with a 4.5" BDS lift, Dana 30 locked, Ford 8.8 w/
factory LSD, 4.10s, JB Conversions SS SYE, 33" SSRs and lots of little
stuff.  I'll make sure to check you guys out next time I'm home.

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am Michael Cutts and
currently reside in Joshua Tree, CA. I am planning on moving to the
Houston Area this summer as soon as school is out. I am currently
involved with 2 4X4 clubs based out of SoCal. and am looking to get
involved with a club in TX when I arrive. I have a very capable rig
which I have built up myself. I am a Automotive technician and am
hoping to get a job at a Dodge/Jeep Dealership when I arrive to TX. If
any one could give my some info on the areas surrounding Houston I
would greatly appreciate it. I have 2 boys that love to go wheelin with
me and I have already started teaching my 12 year old how to drive my
rig. Anyways I look forward to getting out there and doings some
wheelin.

I think the 3rd Saturday is cancelled due to weather. I don't think
anyone wil show up in 39° weather and rain. Maybe Jan 27 will work

for all of your questions, the answer is YES.  The group meets every
2nd Thursday of the month, and wheels at least once per month. The 3rd
Saturday is our designated wheeling day at a minimum.   Anyone who
wants to wheel is welcome, as long as we keep the family atmosphere.  I
used to be the VP, but life has taken over and I am expecting my first
child in late January.  I hope to get back in the Jeep soon after.   We
are set up almost the same. Hope to see you out there.  Feel free to
post on here, I am trying to get more people active on here so we can
keep everyone up to date on what is happening.
