You guessed it. Likely the water is coming from the weephole in the waterpump and dripping down onto the crankshaft pulley. Then it sprays all over from there....

its a 4.0 chero and auto/trans. When I put the floor lever into 4x4 nothing happens. It stays in 2wd and the right rear wheel just spins on the snow. No noise...
